Jonah was born in 1994 and has grown up on the East Coast of Florida in New Smyrna Beach/Edgewater his entire life. After graduating high school in 2013 Jonah attended The Baptist College of Florida (BCF) where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Ministry Studies. During his time at BCF Jonah directed the campus ministry and served as a youth leader. Jonah married his wife Sheila in October of 2018. Jonah has been the Associate Pastor and Student Minister at Bella Vista Baptist since May of 2017.
Hobbies include: hanging out with Sheila, washing his Jeep, bumming at the beach, and collecting Tervis cups.
Jonah’s heart for student ministry and all ministry is simple: for students and people to know Jesus. Our culture is fast, ever changing, and compromising; Jonah’s passion is for students, and their families, to know the eternal love of God the Father through Jesus Christ and for each student to practically execute their faith on a daily basis while resting in the peace that surpasses all understanding.
