Student Ministry at Bella Vista

The Student Ministry at Bella Vista meets weekly on Wednesday evenings. Sunday morning discipleship groups are offered, as well. A typical Wednesday night provides students the opportunity to be in fellowship, engage in several games or trivia (trivia being a group favorite), followed by a message that points students to the knowledge of who Jesus Christ is. The aim of the Student Ministry is for each student to know Jesus Christ in their lives and to actively live out their faith on a daily basis. Each month events are held so the students have an opportunity to hangout while inviting other friends into a safe environment. The nature of the events vary each month but some examples of what we do are: concerts, bonfires, a waterslide with BBQ, all-night lock-ins with a Nerf war, summer camp, mission trip opportunities, and our annual Christmas party. Fun stuff is great. But fun stuff just for the sake of having fun is trivial. All of these events and activities serve a greater purpose of providing students with a safe environment for the sake of each student possibly having an encounter with the Savior Who loves them eternally.
